RE: 2026 Annual Fundraising Appeal

Harvest Haven Inc., founded in May 2004, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving our community with compassion and faith. For more than 22 years, we have provided free, life-changing services to seniors, immigrants, families, and individuals in need. Our programs include translation, income tax assistance, health seminars, weekly senior gatherings, cancer support groups, homeless outreach, and senior outings. We also offer classes in English, computer skills, citizenship, line dancing, knitting, Tai Chi, and Tai Chi sword, promoting lifelong learning and healthy living. Our popular E-World Digital Workshop helps seniors to confidently use technology, while our Singles Young Adult Group encourages Christ-centered friendships and healthy relationships.

For more than 13 years, Harvest Haven has been blessed to call our current location home. It has been a place of friendship, encouragement, learning, and hope for many. However, we were recently informed that our lease will not be renewed because our space, together with the neighboring unit, has been leased to another business requiring the entire second floor. By God’s grace, we have found a new home in the City of Artesia. The facility is currently being improved to meet our needs. This unexpected relocation has created a significant financial challenge. Although the new facility is smaller, the rent is higher, and we must also cover moving expenses, tenant improvements, new signage, technology setup, and other relocation costs. These additional expenses created a strain on our finances that we hope this year’s fundraising would help alleviate.

As we face one of the most challenging years in Harvest Haven’s history, we humbly invite you to partner with us by being one of our Sponsors. Your generous support will help us establish our new home and continue serving our community for years to come.

Sponsors will be recognized on our website and on the Donor Recognition Board at our Center. If sponsorship is not possible at this time, we gratefully welcome donations of any amount. Every gift makes a meaningful difference.

Please make check payable to Harvest Haven and mail it to our Center or send your contribution via Zelle to admin@harvesthaven.org. All donations are tax-deductible, and donation receipts will be issued in January 2027.

主旨：2026年度募款邀請函

喜禾社區服務中心成立於2004年5月，是一所具有 501(c)(3) 免稅資格的非營利機構。我們秉持著愛心與信仰，二十多年來持續服務社區，免費為長者、新移民、家庭及有需要的人士提供各項服務。

我們的服務包括：翻譯服務、免費報稅、健康講座、長者聯誼聚會、癌症關懷小組、關懷露宿者，以及長者郊遊活動。此外，我們亦開辦英文、電腦、公民入籍、排舞、編織、太極拳及太極劍等課程，幫助社區居民持續學習、促進身心健康。受歡迎的E-World數位學習班，幫助長者輕鬆掌握科技, 而單身青年聚會，則致力於建立健康、以基督為中心的人際關係與友誼。

十三年來，喜禾在目前的會址服務社區，這裡不僅是一個活動中心，更成為許多人的第二個家，充滿友情、鼓勵、學習與盼望。然而，最近我們接獲房東通知，我們目前的會址及隔壁的單位已整層出租給另一家公司，我們將無法續租。感謝神的恩典，祂已為我們預備了位於Artesia市的新會址，目前正在進行整修，以符合我們的服務需求。

這次的搬遷，為中心帶來沉重的財務負擔。新的場地雖然較小，但租金卻更高，我們還需要負擔搬遷費用、室內裝修、招牌製作、設備搬遷與安裝等各項支出。這些額外開支使中心面臨前所未有的財務壓力，我們盼望透過今年的募款活動，減輕這些負擔。

今年可說是喜禾成立二十二年來最具挑戰的一年。我們誠摯邀請您成為我們的募款贊助者，您的支持將幫助我們順利建立新的服務中心，使我們能繼續服務社區，將愛與關懷帶給更多有需要的人。
