As we welcome the Year of the Tiger on February 1, we hope more good news will be on our way! We pray that this pandemic will soon be behind us and our lives will be back to normal very soon!!
Because of the fast transmittivity of Omicron, we have decided that instead of having a Chinese New Year celebration gathering with the seniors, our volunteers will hand deliver gift bags and well wishes to the seniors at their homes. Although we cannot meet as often as we like, we hope to bring some love and warmth to them. We also want to make sure they are doing well and inquire whether they have any needs that we can help them with.
We will continue to provide Free Income Tax Preparation for families with income under $40,000 and who do not own a home or business. Please put your W-2 forms etc. together with your contact phone number inside an envelope and drop them off at our Center during our office hours. We will notify you when the tax returns are completed and ready for pick up.
Philippians 4:4 says, “Rejoice in the Lord always; and again, I say, Rejoice!”. No matter what our current situation is, we should still stay positive and be happy for what we currently have. We would like to wish everyone a very Happy Lunar New Year, may you all have Good Health and may all your Wishes Come True!
