Dear Friends,

Fall is here! Don’t forget to turn your clock back an hour before you go to bed on November 6!

Harvest Haven is gradually getting back to normal!  Line dance classes have already resumed a few weeks ago.  All other classes are welcome to resume at the discretion of the teachers.  Activities like ping pong, karaoke, etc. will also resume starting November.  However, all participants have to be fully vaccinated and face coverings are required at all times.

We will be celebrating Thanksgiving with our Seniors at the Cerritos Reginal Park this year.  Many have not seen each other in person for over a year and are really looking forward to this celebration!  We will be having different activities, games and a dim sum lunch.

For the safety of our seniors, the weekly senior meetings will continue online.  In-person meetings will resume in January, 2022, after the possible COVID surges during the holidays are over.

We sincerely thank all our sponsors/donors for your support during this year’s fundraising effort.  Many have continued to send in their donation checks and we are forever grateful for your support!  With no donation generated from our Annual Fundraising event and some classes, we have been running in the red for the past two years.  We hope that after this COVID situation is over with, we will continue to serve the community whole heartedly and touch more people’s lives!

We would like to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving and may God bless you all with good health and happiness!
