We hope you all had a wonderful time celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival with your family and friends! Even though it was hard to meet in person due to the pandemic, it was still a blessing that we could give each other well wishes through messages, chats, video calls, emails and other social medias.
Harvest Haven seniors and volunteers are still meeting weekly online through two different video chat groups. Volunteers continue to lead the seniors in doing exercises, play fun games like riddles and brain teasing games, and sharing of different topics like recalling childhood fun/exciting moments, childhood Mid-Autumn Festival memories, childbirth/childcare memories, etc. If the COVID cases decline significantly by November, we hope to organize an outdoor Thanksgiving celebration for our seniors and volunteers.
For everyone’s safety, our Center is currently open with limited hours and services are provided by appointment only.
Although our Annual Fundraising event cannot take place again this year, we are still in need of everyone’s support. Below is our Annual Fundraising Letter, we sincerely hope you can continue to support us!
May God keep you all safe and bless you all abundantly!!
