Dear Friends,

Despite the pandemic, different volunteers have come by to decorate our Center, bringing back the festivity of Christmas.  Although we could not take our usual group photos, some happily made a trip to our Center just to take some photos to commemorate this very unforgettable Christmas…this reminds us of what the Bible says: Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.  In John 14:27, Jesus also said, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you.  Let not our hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”  While we are all sheltering in place, may we all have peace and joy from Above and a bright hope of the future!

Even though we could not have Santa pass out the Christmas gifts at our Center this year, our volunteers have packaged and hand-delivered the Christmas gift bags to the seniors.  The seniors were both touched and happy to see our volunteers outside their front doors!! We still have a limited amount of Harvest Haven beautifully printed calendars left; feel free to come by our Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 2-4 pm after the holidays to pick one up.

Now that the COVID vaccines are gradually being distributed, we hope and pray that the pandemic will soon be behind us, and we will be able to see each other again in the near future!

From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to wish everyone a very Safe and Happy New Year!  May 2021 be a year of Peace and Joy!!
